Impervious Poultry Flooring

Our product ISB4000 was specifically tailored to increase the biosecurity measures - by providing impervious poultry flooring - and strengthen DAs to local Councils. It is blended with soil to create an impervious material used as a base layer in the broiler house. Being impermeable in nature it will prevent the seepage of chemicals into the water table and the horizontal transmission of viruses. With its high compaction it will not provide a breeding ground for avian parasites or pathogens.

Incorporating ISB4000 into the flooring of a broiler house will address operational and biosecurity concerns for the grower:

• Dust suppressant
• Can be applied in 3 days
• Cures in 24 to 48 hours
• Semi-flexible (will not shrink or block crack)
• Impermeable
Can be disinfected at cleanout
• High compaction (98% min.)
• Odorless
• Easily reparable
• 50 mm of treated flooring is equivalent to an overlay  of 200 mm of NGB20 compacted gravel

After years of trials with interstate growers, Road Material Stabilizers Australia had developed an impermeable poultry flooring (impervious to water penetration) suitable for broiler houses. The product helps growers to reduce the number of challenges they face in production process.
